Our guests range from the visitor looking for an alternative to skiing to the intermediate experienced snowmobiler.  Your snowmobile is on the snow and ready to go!

We are located between two ski resorts.  DJ's tours include thousands of acres of trails and open play area.  There are views to three popular wilderness areas that back up to our neighbor Yosemite National Park.  (Note:  The pass, Hwy. 120, from the Eastern Sierras to the park within Yosemite, is closed in winter.)

Mammoth Lakes Trail System

Over 300 Miles of trails from beginner to expert to explore.

Minaret Vista is a trailhead at Mammoth Mountain will take you to one of the most scenic viewpoints in Mammoth.  Park near the main lodge and grab the shuttle to the trailhead. You also chose to ride the Mammoth Mountain red line in from town and then ski this route. The driver can show you how to access the trail just above chair 11.

This trail is highway 203 in the summer and it is a nice and wide ski run.  It is a multi-use trail shared with snowshoers, snowmobiles and cross-country skiers sharing the trail.  The first 1/3 mile of this trail is shared with skiers and snowboarders coming down an access trail.

 

Twin Lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Basin is your top choice for cross-country skiing in the local area and all of California. You get 45 kilometers of groomed track and skating lanes that will make for a great day or season of fun. The lakes basin is also known for its great snow conditions at 9000 feet and it’s epic views of the mammoth crest, frozen lakes and beyond.

Mammoth Ice Rink - Ice Skating

The Mammoth Ice Rink is a spectacular family-friendly outdoor skating rink in the heart of the town of Mammoth. In addition to ice skating, you can enjoy a cozy fire and wonderful views!

Snowshoe Mammoth

With more than 3 million acres of wilderness and public lands surrounding Mammoth Lakes, you can experience the serenity of nature anywhere your legs can take you. For quick and easy access to stunning mountain scenery, there is free public access to more than 140 miles (225 km) of track that winds throughout Mammoth Lakes and into the expanse of the Inyo National Forest. There is a public access point on the left side of the Lake Mary Loop at the Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center. There are also groomed trails that are accessible behind the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center and Shady Rest Park.

Bishop Country Club is open year-round (mostly.)  Tired of the snow?  

Located between the White Mountains and the beautiful High Sierra in Eastern California, with its rich green picturesque fairways and water on all but two holes, you won’t be disappointed with the scenery. Scenic Gondola Rides

Take a Scenic Gondola Ride up Mammoth Mountain to explore all the fun at 11,053 ft. At the top, snap a selfie at the summit sign, enjoy lunch with panoramic views and discover the history and wonder of the Sierra at the interpretive center. Make it a one-way trip – just top-off your water bottle and head back down on foot for a rewarding hike.

Woolly's Tube Park & Snow Play

Skip the uphill hike and catch a lift to the top, then bomb down the groomed lanes as fast as you dare in a high-speed snow tube. Woolly’s Tube Park is all-time fun for all ages with a large snow play area and a heated deck with snack bar offering hot cocoa and adult beverages.
