Mammoth Mountain Cross Country Ski Trails
Minaret Vista Trail
Minaret Vista is a trailhead at Mammoth Mountain that will take you to one of the most scenic viewpoints in Mammoth. Park near the main lodge and grab the shuttle to the trailhead. You also chose to ride the Mammoth Mountain red line in from town and then ski this route. The driver can show you how to access the trail just above chair 11.
Twin Lakes
Twin Lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Basin is your top choice for cross-country skiing in the local area and all of California. You get 45 kilometers of groomed track and skating lanes that will make for a great day or season of fun. The lakes basin is also known for its great snow conditions at 9000 feet and it’s epic views of the mammoth crest, frozen lakes and beyond.
Tamarak Cross Country Ski Center
The Tamarak Cross Country Ski Center offers a huge selection of groomed trails for nordic skiing, available from 8:30am to 5pm daily when the weather permits. You can choose between beginner trails like Dome Trail and the Lake Mary Loop, intermediate trails like the Mamie Cutoff, or difficult trails like Mineshaft and Voodoo.
