Description

Mountainback #117 is a gorgeous, rustic property with remodeled bathrooms and kitchen, as well as a new hardwood floor in the living room. This unit is located on the quiet and sunny side of the building, with a high ceiling leading up to the loft. The living room is bright, airy, and spacious. New for winter 2024, brand new windows!

Located in the building farthest up the hill, closest to Canyon Lodge, you may walk to the Lodge in 10 minutes. You car, in the meantime, will stay in its designated spot in a covered garage. The shuttle stop is also close by.

Beds and baths: Queen sized beds in the master and second bedrooms downstairs, with a double bed upstairs, all with down comforters as well as synthetic comforters. One of the living room sofas will convert to a double size bed for additional sleeping space. Three full bathrooms, two with showers and one with a shower over an oversized tub. Two wall mounted hairdryers.

Amenities: Full-sized washer and dryer in unit, secure Wi-Fi, flat screen TV in each room, a wood-burning stone fireplace, large dining table for 8, and a super well equipped kitchen. Propane bbq and chairs on the deck for grilling and viewing. Jacuzzi next to the building.

This is a perfect spot for all seasons.

Parking: Underground parking for 2 cars (7’ clearance).

The downtown was vibrant, where you can either walk to, drive to or take the bus. Would highly recommend this place. The check-in desk was responsive to our queries.

This place is amazing and close to the Skiing ⛷️ area. Walkable distance uphill and you are there or a 2 min drive at max. The place is perfect for a large group or small family. It was easy to find and all the amenities were accurate! We loved the privacy of the place and how quiet it was! The kitchen is fully loaded and it’s a nice and clean place overall! Recommend this for anyone that wants to do any activities and drive small distances to all the places.

Great spacious condo for our family. Clean, comfortable, nice views, and good location. The underground garage with parking is a plus though you have to go up about 3 flights of stairs to get to condo. Close to Canyon lodge and shuttle stops are right on the street. Loved all the amenities especially having a washer and dryer in the condo. Will stay here again! Thank you

The location is great; the lifts at Canyon Lodge were just a short walk away. The condo was well equipped; we were not lacking for anything in the kitchen, there was plenty of space in the living room for everyone, and the beds were comfortable. We used the garage parking at the bottom of the condo building. It snowed while we were there, and it was great that we did not have to dig out our car! We would definitely recommend this condo!

Totally walkable to the canyon lodge and close to town. We had a group of 8 and the cabin was perfectly spacious for all of us. Highly recommend!

Us, two daughters with their BFs. It is not easy to find three bedrooms each with double/queen beds. Great location, especially during the heavy snow daily, covered parking is a plus and short distance to canyon lodge. We walked to canyon lodge and skied back each day. The building is not well marked as the building number is impossible to see due to snow pile

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, aged 15 and 8. This was a larger space than we needed and could fit a larger family but we appreciated the additional space. This unit is in Mountainback building 11 which is the Mountainback building closest to Canyon. It is on the 2nd floor. The master has a queen bed with an en suite bathroom. There is a 2nd smaller bedroom with a queen and a bathroom in the hallway. The loft is upstairs with a double bed and its own bathroom. The unit was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. The absolute best thing was having a washer and dryer right in the unit. There are 2 different coffee makers, a Keurig and a regular drip one. There is an uphill walk to Canyon, about 8 minutes for an adult in regular shoes (not ski boots) but takes about 12-15 min for an 8 year old with ski equipment and a bit scary with no sidewalks (due to snow). Overall, a very nice place to stay for a winter vacation- I would recommend it!

Beautiful property, very convenient location and very spacious. We walked to Canyon to ski and to the village for dinner. We loved our stay, and would definitely come again No smart tv, so no Netflix, but otherwise perfect!

This condo is great! It was much more spacious that we were expecting and everyone in the group expressed their pleasure with the place. The location is pretty hard to beat. It was a quick five minute walk up the hill to Canyon and the same back. I would definitely recommend!

Very nice condo. Spacious and comfortable. Nice loft area for the kids. Can walk to Canyon Lodge. No direct access to outside except the second floor deck. Nice kitchen and bathrooms.

This Condo unit had 2 full bedrooms on the main level each with a bathroom. Rooms were clean and well furnished. The bathrooms were updated and the master bath was very roomy with granite counter and a nice large tub shower. The kitchen and main level family room was clean with a nice fireplace and deck. A very comfortable unit. The upstairs loft sleeps 4 with a full size bed and a bunk bed with its own bathroom. This bathroom has not really been updated and is original construction. Overall, The condo was nice and comfortable. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Several negative points to make is that there are 3 flights of stairs to go up from the parking garage which was a little much getting all of our stuff in and back to car. No air conditioning in this unit and it was a warm period in Mammoth so the loft room got pretty warm without any window up there to release the hot air.
