Mammoth Mountain Reservations offers an array of condos throughout Mammoth Lakes. Some, like Discovery 4, Mountainback at Mammoth, and Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club, are located right down the road from Canyon Lodge. Others, like Sierra Park Villas, are located in the center of town, on Old Mammoth Road.
Where is the best place to stay in Mammoth Lakes?
Mammoth Lakes is a small town, so wherever you stay is going to be charming and close to your favorite activities. That being said, if you want to be within walking distance to Mammoth Mountain, take a look at our condos at Mountainback at Mammoth, Crestview, Silver Bear, and Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club.
If, on the other hand, you want to be closer to restaurants and shopping, explore our options closer to the center of town: Sierra Park Villas, Mountain Shadows, Tamarack, Forest Creek, and Horizon’s 4.
Is it easy to get around Mammoth Lakes without a car?
Yes! Throughout the year, Mammoth Lakes offers a free shuttle service that you can use to travel from the center of town to the Village at Mammoth and Mammoth Mountain. Bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters are another popular way to get around Mammoth Lakes in the warmer months.
How far in advance should you book a condo for Mammoth Lakes?
If you want to get your pick of the best condos in Mammoth Lakes, it’s always better to book as early as possible. Our busiest months are between November and February as well as June to August.
