Stayed here with some friends and it was perfect. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, and was able to walk to and from the mountain every day with skis. Management was very responsive

It was spacious and nicely decorated, with more than ample room for 5 of us (but easily could have accommodated more). The kitchen and bathrooms are very up to date and were stocked with the basics that were available for us to use. We loved exploring the outdoors and then coming back to the unit to shower and relax. We enjoyed the walk into town for dinner. We also took advantage of the free trolley. There is a trolley stop right in front of the Mountainback condo making it easy and convenient to get around the village. We also enjoyed using the bbq and one of the many jacuzzis which are part of the complex. Mountainback 85 condo provided a comfortable way to enjoy Mammoth and the beautiful outdoors while staying in very comfortable accommodations.

On the outside, the set of condos may not look unique, but you will be pleasantly surprised by the accommodations inside this particular unit!This condo is an absolute DREAM. I don't write reviews often, but I had to this time because more people need to know about it. First off, the place is super clean. The owners require you to take all shoes off before entering and it is worth it because you instantly feel at ease and at home. The condo is charming and classy. The feel of the furniture and the accommodations doesn't do the photos justice. The owners have really gone out of their way to think of everything for you. It is a great place to relax, sit around the spacious table and spend time with your loved ones. Each room is decorated with care and attention to detail. The decor contains hints of the wilderness, which blends well with the rustic surfaces. The kitchen includes a large basin sink for preparing food, washing dishes, etc. It also comes stocked with all of the accommodations you would need to enjoy your mealtimes.The beds are great, which is what I'm sure everyone wonders about. The upstairs loft is adorable and the bed is very comfortable. The living area is beautifully decorated and the the sofa bed is really easy to navigate. The bunk beds are spacious. Each one could easily accommodate two full-grown adults. The master bedroom is very roomy and includes an amazing shower. I have been on dozens of vacations to Mammoth (Lake Tahoe, etc.) and this is by far one of the nicest, cleanest places I have every stayed. Like I said, I left this review specifically so everyone would know it is worth your effort to book this place!

Beautiful Mammoth Condo

I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely delighted we were with our stay in this beautiful Mammoth condo! The home had the amenities and luxury of a 5-star accommodation with the comforts of a cozy cabin. From the large windows of warm sunshine welcoming us in the morning to the heat of the evening fireplace after dinner, we felt pampered and blessed. And since we invited another large family to join us on our vacation, the 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms were not lost on us. How wonderful it was for everyone to have more than enough room to comfortably stretch themselves. The home was not only spacious though; it was thoughtfully decorated. I found myself gazing on several occasions at the watercolor paintings that hung throughout the home. Our Mammoth retreat would not have been half as restful and relaxing without this condo. We are very grateful to the host family for letting us stay at their place.

This was our first family trip to Mammoth and this lovely condo gave us a "home away from home" experience. The location is amazing, just five minutes walk from the slopes at Canyon Lodge which comes with a locker to store your gear, and few more minutes away from the Village. The place was super cozy, spacious and clean with an amazing decor that gives you that chalet-style feel. The place was well equipped, kitchen had all the supplies and appliances, bathrooms had everything you need and more, laundry in unit, 3 spacious bedrooms with plenty of closet space and lots of extra pillows and blankets, each has it's own bathroom! The condo was warm and the couch super inviting after a whole skiing day, the fireplace in the living room calls for you to relax and watch the amazing mountain views or play games with your family (there were plenty in the living room sideboard). The covered parking spot was very convenient for us and yes, there is super high speed internet and TV fully loaded with everything you need! This condo is great for skiing and year round! We had the best Spring break and that is because we stayed at Mountainback 85! We would definitely stay here again the next time we are visiting Mammoth!

We had a spectacular Spring Break 2023 Mammoth vacation staying in the beautiful Mountainback 85 condo! Our family of 5, including 3 grown sons, enjoyed the spacious, clean and well appointed unit. With convenient covered parking and direct access, unloading and loading was made easy and dry. The interior design blends classic cabin cozy with an updated traditional feel. We had lots of space for our family to relax. Relax reading by the living room fireplace (with easy push button gas controls) or curling up on the TV den couch for a movie after a full day of skiing. The 3 bathrooms have showers and heaters that warm up quickly. Close proximity of the hot tub, made for quick access to and from the condo, wrapped in our towels. The kitchen has all you need, laundry machines in the unit, gorgeous views, internet access for work or school check ins and a 10 minute walk to Canyon Lode which offers token lockers for overnight ski gear storage. We had dinner every night and had all the cooking supplies at our fingertips. We cant wait to come back to Mountainback 85!!

Location, location, location, just a 5 minute walk to Canyon lodge. Access to their ski locker at Canyon lodge is included (which came in handy when we had to store my kids boots after we rented their snowboards and boots). There is an assigned parking spot for unit number 85 which is covered so you won't have to remove any snow that accumulates on your vehicle. Free covered guest parking for your friend as well. The whole unit has been updated. Three bathrooms came in handy so that no one had to wait. The bathrooms have a nice heater that will keep you warm after you shower. The kitchen has everything you need (plates, silverware, mixing bowls, blender, toaster oven, rice cooker, waffle iron, you name it). There is a new propane fireplace that heats up the whole condo. The front door has keyless entry which is super convenient. High speed internet was nice since we had to work from "home." This unit was able to accommodate 2 families (total of 4 adults and 4 kids) comfortably. Another great trip to Mammoth. We plan to stay at Mountainback number 85 again soon.
