Description

Upon walking into this one bedroom plus loft you will immediately feel at home. Under your feet is a newly slate tiled floor which extends into the kitchen and is in each of the 2 bathrooms. After a day of play, enjoy the fine artwork that is scattered about this unit as you relax to watch a movie on the TV with DVD/VCR or listen to your favorite tune on the CD player. This unit is on the third floor from the garage. This unit is a stone throw away from the outdoor pool, main sauna, and barbecue area and is within walking distance to Canyon Lodge for skiing, mountain biking, or hiking.

Maximum Occupancy: Accommodates up to 6 guests.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a King bed, it's own TV, and an adjoining master bathroom. The Loft has a queen bed plus a set of bunk beds. The couch is a sofa sleeper. This condo is on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators.

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials! For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace which has a beautiful wood mantle and fine hearthstone.

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV!

Views: With it's many windows this is a very bright unit with a view of the the Mammoth Valley.

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (apprx ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (apprx 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.
Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Our place was clean and about 5 minutes away from the Village and 15 away from a few lakes. The place was a little warm so an air conditioner would’ve helped make our stay more comfortable. But other than that the place was beautiful.

The view might be the best in Mammoth. Located on an upper level, and on the hillside, you can look clear across town to the mountains on the other side, as well as out across the Valley to the mountains on the east side of the Owens River Valley. The condo is pleasant and does not feel cramped. True 2 bedrooms, unlike some Airbnbs where it is just a loft or nook. Dining table is big enough to seat 6 comfortably. Unit is on the third floor from the ground. No one (footsteps!) above you, but you do have to walk up two stories each time. 10 minute walk to the Canyon base area, and ski back to the unit.

Balcony had a beautiful view of the mountains. A little older furniture and we had to turn the heat at max for it to really. Overalls great location and cute condo. Would recommend staying here.

We stayed here for a skiing trip at Mammoth. Nice spacious place, but could use a little work. Oven was smokey which could be easily fixed but I believe it made house smell like someone smoked in it. Plenty of sleeping space - enough for 8. Bedding needs to be replaced especially on pull out. Everything else very nice. Nice community spa and even a baby bear that makes an appearance at sundown.

The views from the balcony and master bedroom are amazing. Early in the morning you wake up to a gorgeous sunrise that you can view from the bedroom window. At night you fall asleep with a view of the moonlit mountains and the stars above. Nice balcony. The unit living area is very cozy with gas fireplace.Location is ski in from the village ski back trail, but there are no signs and you need to find your way using GPS /Google maps. Getting to the slopes however is a bit harder than anticipated, you have a 7-8 minute walk to the bus stop, then one stop and you are at canyon. It take about 20 minutes total to get to the lift if you have ski gear with you. There is no ski storage downstairs, we kept the skis in the car. The kitchen was decently equipped but most of the pans were badly scratched - we bought a cast iron skillet to do most of our cooking in. There were not any proper baking pans or larger glass oven safe cookware. Some baking sheets were present but they don't work well for baking meats. All else was good as far as silverware, cups plates. Plan to bring additional condiments - sugar, salt, cooking oils etc if you plan to prepare your own food. No grills on property. We found the beds to be very firm and woke up stiff every morning.Overall, the unit is very good, a few minor small changes would make it top notch.

We enjoyed our stay here. We have stayed at the Mammoth Ski &amp; Raquet Club before and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The windows in this unit face the east. We like this as we didn't get the evening sun which can heat up the rooms. Plus the sunrise was beautiful to see! This condominium has a lovely view of Lake Crowley.

We had a great stay and enjoyed lots of snow related fun. My only complaint is that the place does not appear to have been updated in quite a while (the VCR next to the living room TV gives a hint as to the era). The place was pretty dusty and the carpet has seen one too many snow boot. But overall was comfy. This was our first time to Mammoth. I highly recommend it to fellow Southern Californians looking to play in the snow.
