Rock Climbing
Most people think skiing/snowboarding or hiking when
thinking about Mammoth Lakes when they should be thinking
rock climbing. Yeahhhhh!! First of all,
Yosemite National Park which houses some of the finest
Granite climbing of all is only about an hour away.
If you have never checked out Tuolumne Meadows, you will
be very surprised by what you find. Domes after
Domes of some really fun climbing. Just make sure to
wear bug repellant or you will loose about three pints of
blood in a day to the rats of Yosemite: Mosquitoes.
